    These assemblies cover legislative districts (SD35 and HD47), congressional districts (e.g., CD-4), and judicial districts relevant to Bent County and southeast Colorado. Delegates (elected at your March 24 County Assembly) will participate in voting, discussions, and party business ahead of the full Colorado Republican State Assembly on Saturday, April 11.

    Colorado Republican State Assembly & Convention

     

    Saturday, April 11, 2026 - 9:00 AM

     

     

    Pursuant to Article XIII, Section D of the Bylaws of the Colorado Republican State Central Committee and Colorado Revised Statutes § 1-4 102 and § 1-4-601, notice is hereby given that the Colorado Republican State Assembly shall be convened beginning at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Massari Arena in Pueblo on the campus of Colorado State University Pueblo, located at 2200 Bonforte Blvd, Pueblo, CO 81001.  Check-in and credentialing for this Assembly and Convention will begin at 7:00 A.M. 

     

     

    A total of 2,670 delegates and 2,670 alternate delegates for this Assembly have been authorized, which delegates and alternate delegates have been apportioned to each county according to the votes cast in each county for the Republican candidate for President, Donald J. Trump, in the last general election, as described in the accompanying attachment and incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof. 

     

     

    The membership and proceedings of this Assembly and Convention shall be governed by the Rules and Bylaws of the Colorado Republican State Central Committee, and by applicable provisions of Colorado law. The principal purposes of this Assembly and Convention of delegates shall be:

     

    To designate Republican candidates for Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Attorney General, and US Senate for nomination on the 2026 Republican Primary Election ballot;

     

    To approve Resolutions to constitute the Platform of the Colorado Republican Party, and to consider and adopt such other rules and resolutions and conduct all other business of the Republican Party that may properly and lawfully come before such a Assembly and Convention of delegates.
